Write to us with a hotel that belongs in one of the four sections and explain what the building does that another one does not. A name on its own is not much to work with.

Write if a date is wrong, if we have a season stated incorrectly, or if a building's history has been reported here in a way the record does not support. Point at the source if you can.

Hotels are welcome to write directly. If something in an entry is out of date or inaccurate, tell us and we will check it against published material and change what needs changing. There is no charge for that, and no charge would be accepted.

We do not take bookings, hold reservations, or pass enquiries on to hotels. A message sent here reaches three editors and nobody else.

We read everything and reply to most of it within a couple of weeks.
